Sousapalooza Sheboygan

Debuting in Chicago in 2011, a Sousapalooza brings together brass, wind and percussion players of all ages and abilities to sightread the music of the March King, John Philip Sousa. This June 21st, Sheboygan is set to join Make Music cities across the country in bringing Sousa’s music to life. All are invited to participate. No auditioning, no rehearsing… just making music.

  • Get your music. Click on the title of each piece below. Find your instrument and part, then right click and select download to save to your computer or device.
  • Print your music or load it on a tablet to bring with you on June 21st.

If you need help obtaining or printing your music, please call 920.459.3378 or email to arrange to have it brought to City Green on Make Music Day. If emailing or leaving a message, please be sure to provide your name, instrument, part,  and phone number.
  • On Make Music Day, June 21st, grab your music and instrument, and a chair and/or stand if needed to play comfortably, and head to City Green to join the band. We will convene at 6:30pm and ask that you give yourself enough time to be ready at this time.
  • Enjoy making music with friends and strangers of all ages and abilities.

Not an instrumentalist? We hope you’ll sit back and enjoy the sounds of Sheboygan’s first Sousapalooza.

We also invite you to join us for Sheboygan Sings, a community-wide choral celebration. Join voices with friends, neighbors, and those you’ve not yet met as we sing well-known songs.  Lyrics will be provided. We hope you’ll sing along and enjoy the fun of making music, together.
