Khayakazi Madlala
Khayakazi hails from Matatiele in the Eastern Cape. She started singing at a very tender age. Participating in school choir competitions groomed her singing. In 2012 she was part of an ensemble at Mariazell high school won the SASCE competition. In 2019, Khayakazi traveled to Sweden to perform at the Star for Life fundraising concert at the Malmö The opera house, where she performed alongside the country's best opera and pop artists. Khayakazi was one of the finalists at the Voices of South Africa International Singing competition that was held in cape town. She took part in the I Grandi Tenore Durban Potpourri that took place at the Durban Playhouse in September with the KZN Philharmonic Orchestra (KZNPO). Later that year she performed at the KZNPO Spring Season Concert at the Durban Playhouse conducted by Daniel Boico At the end of the year, 2022 khayakazi was the overall winner of the talent festival hosted by the university.Khayakazi is currently doing her third year
