Alec Leshy

Alec Leshy has played piano both as a soloist and in small ensembles at private parties, celebrations, and other gatherings. Alec has performed at the Lyman Allyn Art Museum, the Thames Club, the Rotary Club, the Holiday Inn, and other local venues. Previously, he played in jazz trios and larger ensembles in Washington, D.C., and was featured regularly as a pianist at Nordstrom. Alec began playing piano at the age of five. At his arts high school in Washington, D.C., and at Interlochen Arts Camp, he studied jazz and improvisation. He earned a B.A. degree at Oberlin College and attended Berklee College of Music in Boston. He also sings tenor in the Eastern Connecticut Symphony Chorus and regularly hosts a classical music show on WCNI, 90.9 FM radio.
