About Make Music Day Sugar Land
In Sugar Land, Texas, the event will feature free live musical performances, opportunities for people to make music, and various other musical events. Throughout the day, there will also be food vendors, merchandise stalls, and informational booths about music education and local music organizations. Make Music Day in Sugar Land aims to unite people of all ages and backgrounds through the universal language of music.

10:00 AM – Opening Ceremony
- Introduction to Make Music Day
- Welcome speech
- Brief overview of the day’s events
10:30 AM – Teacher-led Sessions by East End Music Lessons
- Guitar Lesson
- Piano Lesson
- Drum Lesson
12:30 PM – Live Band Performances
- Local bands take the stage
- Variety of musical genres including rock, pop, jazz, and more
2:00 PM – Open Mic/Community Jam Sessions
- Opportunity for local musicians and attendees to showcase their talent
- Open to singers, instrumentalists, and spoken word artists
- Everyone is invited to join in and make music together
5:00 PM – Karaoke Session
- Opportunity for attendees to sing along to a select list of prerecorded songs
5:00 PM – Closing Ceremony
- Thank you speech to participants and attendees
- Recap of the day’s highlights
- Announcement of upcoming musical events in the community
