Make Music Superior - June 21

Born Too Late

Born Too Late is a Twin Ports–based band formed in 2016 by sibling duo Traxx and Rokkyn Nelson-Kavajecz, who grew up playing music decades older than themselves. Influenced by classic rock and country, from Guns N’ Roses and Fleetwood Mac to Johnny Cash and Patsy Cline, the band earned their name by being “born too late” for those eras, but right on time to bring that music to a new generation. Born Too Late released their debut album Rebel Child in 2022 and followed it with their sophomore album, Terrible Twos, in 2024. The band performs throughout the Upper Midwest as an acoustic duo or with a full band made up of seasoned Twin Ports musicians, blending classic favorites, modern hits, and original songs in their live shows.
