Jessie Walker

With 60 years of experience in the music entertainment business, be it writing, performing, or recording, Jesse’s charm, sincerity and authentic vocal talent, on and off the stage has endeared him to many a country music fan. Jesse began performing at nine with his family then high school dances, college fraternity gigs, and local taverns where he was quick to learn the tricks of the trade. At the age of 16, he made his first solo recording using the two track recorder he bought with the money he earned playing music. At 18, he joined the Clossy Brothers Country Band andwent on the road. It all was a part of the musical adventures of Jesse Walker that continue today. 1998, Jesse won the Q106 Country Music Hall of Fame award. In 2002 he was awarded a Certificate of Merit from the Country Music Federation for outstanding efforts in the advancement of country music. In 2004, he won Best Country Album from the Madison Area Music Awards.
