Make Music Day is a FREE world wide celebration of music that started in France in 1982 as the Fête de la Musique. Arts Services Initiative of WNY launched Make Music Day in Buffalo and Niagara Falls on June 21, 2016, and now Buffalo Rising and Tod Kniazuk are continuing it in Buffalo in 2019.

Make Music Day WNY features musicians of all abilities and music from any genre. Sidewalks, parks, front porches, and public spaces throughout the city will become stages for music.

Everyone is invited to participate in this international day of music by performing, providing an outdoor space, appreciating, or volunteering. It’s all for the love of music!
