Welcome to Make Music Day Worcester!

Hello everyone,

We here at the Worcester Arts Council are so excited to be bringing Make Music Day to Worcester.  When we had the idea 9 months ago, we jumped right in and started planning.  The support we have received so far from the city, the Make Music Alliance, and basically everyone we talked to about it has been overwhelmingly positive.  “It’s going to be so much fun!” has been the standard response.

Now that we are officially “live” we want to get the word out to as many people and groups as possible.  To have the best event possible, we need musicians of all abilities to perform, venues to host performances, a few talented people willing to give music lessons and lead jam sessions, and as many volunteers to help out on June 21 as we can get.  If you fall into any of those categories, go right ahead and sign up.  Also consider attending our information session on Wednesday April 5 from 5:30 – 7 at Brew on the Grid.
