The Wheels are in Motion

It’s been 10 days since our “big announcement” of Make Music Day and we have been overwhelmed with the support of the Worcester community.  Make Music Worcester received 100 likes on facebook in the first 24 hours!  Worcester Magazine published a great article about the event last week which can be found on their website.  Performers and venues have been registering with the matchmaking system.  WICN has joined us as a partner, and will be bringing some great programming to the event.  And the support keeps pouring in.

We can’t wait to begin announcing some of the things that are brewing, but it’s not quite time yet.  For now, we are still looking for more performers, venues, volunteers, and ideas.  We are asking anyone who wants to get involved to

a) sign up through the matchmaking system

b) come to our event this Wednesday from 5:30 – 7 at Brew on the Grid

and/or c) email us at Worcester@makemusicday.org to volunteer (or with questions or suggestions)

And finally, please spread the word.  The more people who get involved, the better Make Music Day Worcester is going to be!
