ChickenFat Klezmer Orchestra
Chickenfat Klezmer Orchestra plays klezmer, which is Jewish folk music. Our repertoire includes traditional songs from the European (yiddish) and Middle Eastern (ladino) diaspora, as well as klezmer-swing jazz fusions from the 1920s and 1930s, Hebrew chants and Hassidic tunes. The orchestra has up to twelve instruments, including a rhythm section, reeds, brass, and singing, making for a full, energetic sound good for dancing or listening.
