Bach and Boombox
Praised by the Washington Post for his “engaging flair and commitment,” cellist Nat Chaitkin has appeared as soloist with several orchestras, in recital on Radio Canada and at the White House as a member of the “President’s Own” U.S. Marine Chamber Orchestra. He studied at the Juilliard School and the University of Michigan, and taught at Georgetown and Michigan State University. In 2012, he was awarded the City of Cincinnati’s Artist Ambassador Fellowship for bringing his program, Bach and Boombox, to new and underserved audiences. In 2015, Nat co-founded 4-Way, Cincinnati’s String Quartet, which offers accessible, innovative performances in community settings, as well as free lessons to underserved urban youth.
