These are just some of the incredible events and musicians that you’ll be able to find in Fair Lawn on @makemusicday 6.21.2023!
1. Kids Singalong with Ms. Bridget in Berdan Grove Park at 10:00am. Let’s start off our music filled day with songs in the park!
2. Harmonica Jam at MNM Party Store on River Rd. at 10:30am. The first 20 people will get FREE harmonicas to keep! Or bring your own and show off your skills!
3. At 11:00am, join the Fair Lawn for All Ages Drum Circle in Berdan Grove Park!
4. Stroll over to Soup Maison for lunch at 11:30 and take in an acoustic set by Nick Magarelli.
5. The Senior Center will be hosting Janice Wiggins and “The Great American Songbook” during lunch, 12:00-1:15. Call (201)796-1191 to sign up for lunch.
6. At 12:15pm the Fair Lawn Arboretum will come alive with the sounds of Flowerpot Music! Stop by to give it a try and also visit the Farmers Market while you’re there!
7. At 1:00pm Kay will be playing rock jams at Flynn’s Barbershop. Stop in for a trim and a show!
8. Matthew Kwait will be celebrating his last day of school with an acoustic set at 1:30pm at MNM Party Store.
9. Stop by Taco Buzz on River Rd as they start off a busy evening of music at 2:00 with Alicia Romero!
10. Stop by D&N Deli on River Rd at 1:15pm to enjoy lunch and try your hand at the steel drums. Caribbean vibes!
11. Kickoff Summer! At 1:30pm in Vogel Park on George Street families can make music and play along with rhythm sticks, egg shakers and Boomwhackers!
12. At 2:15pm the percussion celebration continues over at The Chocolate Nook on the corner of Berdan & River where you can try bucket drumming!
13. Stop by Haus Cafe on River Rd. at 2:00pm for an afternoon pick me up and enjoy the Seltzer Band playing rock and pop tunes.
14. Keep strolling and from 2:00-5:30pm you can catch the students of the Fair Lawn Academy of Music outside of their music studio at 12-18 River Rd.
15. We haven’t forgotten about our friends over in Radburn! At 4:00 the Seltzer Band is going to play CoZie Cafe too!
16. Arts Council member Romie Sharma will be hosting musicians at her home on Radburn Road from 5:30-8:00pm. Stop by and see what the neighborhood musicians are up to!
17. Catch some dinner at Juany’s Cafe while the students from Viva La Diva Music Studio entertain you from 5:00-9:00pm!

18. Stop by Taco Buzz starting at 4:00pm and catch Felipe Torres, his students and friends rocking the block!
19. Do you want to make music too? 4:30-5:30 down the street at Bobaly you can jam with Matthew, Nick and Bridget, some of the Music Coordinators of Make Music Day Fair Lawn!
20. Right after the jam session at 6:00 we’ll be hosting a Ukulele Jam right next door at New Territories! Beginners are encouraged to join us too!
21. Get an evening pick-me-up over at Haus Cafe while watching Isha Shah’s friends make music!
22. The Dutch House Tavern will be hosting live music with Matthew Kwait from 6:00-8:00pm. Have dinner on the porch while Matthew plays the guitar for your enjoyment.
23. Our friends Sam & The Fridays will be lighting up River Road at 6:30 with rock & pop hits at Taco Buzz! Don’t miss the show!
24. Haus Cafe will be closing out Make Music Day from 8:00-9:59pm with Black Mamba’s Electropop & Chiptube music.
