Esther Young
Esther Young is an acoustically-driven singer-songwriter. Raised in the church, she learned to question and explore the world through written poetry and song. She found her place as an artist in San Jose, and continues to map her spiritual journey through pointed, evocative lyrics. Her most recent EP Small Hands, Heavy Heart is a deliberate presentation of songs written through grief and the search for wholeness in solitude. Throughout the indie-folk, 90s-inspired sounds in her music, you can still hear the influence of hymnal cadences.
