NMO flutes
The Northwestern Medical Orchestra was formed in 2018 by first-year medical students to provide an instrumental music experience for members of the Northwestern medical community in downtown Chicago. NMO has two orchestral performances a year, in addition to chamber music and a summer wind ensemble concerts. Melanie Zhang, Angela Yang, and Angelica Moran are members of the NMO flute section. They are all current students or graduates of Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine and hope that through events like Make Music Chicago, they can share their love of music with the local neighborhood.
