The Third Rails
The Third Rails are a rock n’ roll band formed in 2022, in New York City. The band originally started for the sole purpose to go “busking” around the many parks of the city. Consisting of students who are currently studying at The New School (with the exception of the bass player), the band is a new, fresh, and exciting group. The subject of their music sheds light on the many faults and issues of the New York City Metropolitan Transit Authority, as well as many other topics that deal with living in a big city. The best way to characterize the group’s sound would be that of a giant melting pot, just like the city they love and represent.
