Annika Horne
Annika Horne is a vocalist and songwriter based in Brooklyn, New York. Her work combines country and jazz, with a modern flair. She started out as a country music singer and performed regularly in Texas, where she grew up. Annika has opened for Wynonna Judd and has also worked as an actor, including a Young Artist Award winning role on the TV show Army Wives. In addition to performing as a vocalist, Annika also writes and directs film and her short film Flying in the Dark, a documentary about women in aviation premiered at the Austin Film Festival and Brooklyn Film Festival and was supported by the Austin Film Society. She is currently work on several new film projects and recently recorded an EP with her country/jazz band called "The Squash Blossoms."
